Blueberry Basil Limeade
This blueberry basil limeade feels like a little backyard celebration in a glass. It is bright, gently herbal, and uses everyday ingredients you can grab at the store.
- Blueberries fresh or frozen
- Basil — a few sprigs
- Lime — juice of 2
- Sugar and water for the syrup
Simmer equal parts sugar and water with a cup of blueberries until the sugar dissolves and the berries burst. Mash lightly to release color.
Turn off the heat, add basil to infuse for 5 minutes, then strain. Stir in fresh lime juice and chill.
