Sparkling Raspberry Rose Spritz

Pretty, pink, and lightly floral, this drink feels like something you would order at a cute little bar, but it is so easy to make at home.

Equipment

  • 2 wine glasses or stemless glasses
  • 1 small liquid measuring cup or jigger (for the ½ oz and 3 oz amounts)
  • 1 muddler or the back of a wooden spoon (for the raspberries)
  • 1 long spoon to stir
  • Optional but nice to have:
  • Small pitcher if you want to mix a couple of servings at once
  • Fine mesh strainer if you want a smoother drink with fewer seeds

Materials

  • - 3–4 fresh raspberries plus extra for garnish
  • - ½ oz simple syrup or agave adjust to taste
  • - ½ teaspoon lemon juice
  • - Tiny splash of rose water go very light, it is strong
  • - 3 oz chilled sparkling wine or prosecco
  • - 3 oz chilled sparkling water or club soda

Instructions

  • **Muddle the berries**
  • In the bottom of a glass, gently muddle the raspberries with the simple syrup and lemon juice.
  • **Add the rose water**
  • Add a tiny splash of rose water and stir. A little goes a long way.
  • **Top with bubbles**
  • - For the cocktail: add prosecco and a splash of sparkling water.
  • - For the mocktail: fill the glass with sparkling water or your favorite non-alcoholic bubbly.
  • **Garnish and serve**
  • Add a raspberry or a little lemon twist on the rim. Serve chilled.

Notes

**For the mocktail:**
- Skip the prosecco and use 6 oz sparkling water or a non-alcoholic sparkling wine. You can make one cocktail and one mocktail so each of you has what you like. In the glass, they look almost identical, so you still get that cute “cheers” moment.
